I graduated from the University of Waterloo and wished I knew about all the resources readily available. It would have encouraged me to get involved and make the most of my student life. To help others, I decided to create university guides for Canadian universities. I hope to bring more awareness to the top university resources across Canada.

What should I do now?

Get your OneCard now and save time. This is your student card which will be used for local busing, meal plans, library services, gym and more.
Enroll in Laurier’s online orientation course. You will learn more about WLU student life, best places to eat, residence life, orientation week and strategies to prepare you for university-level learning.

What are some good study spots on campus?

24 hour lounge, Lazaridis Hall, Laurier Library, Science Atrium and Solarium

What Can I Do to Be More Successful During My Time in University?

Many students from university will encourage you to build better habits now. University is a huge adjustment so start figuring out what works best for you. It’s okay to fail as long as you learn from your mistakes and adjust accordingly.
